Our PE-coated prestressed concrete strand is designed for unbonded post-tensioning applications where corrosion protection and installation efficiency are paramount. The high-density polyethylene (HDPE) coating encapsulates the steel strand, creating a durable barrier against moisture, chlorides, and environmental corrosion.

• Coating: High-density polyethylene (HDPE), minimum 1mm thickness
• Diameter range: 9.5mm – 15.7mm
• Tensile strength: Up to 1860 MPa
• Relaxation (1000h): ≤ 2.5% (low relaxation)
• Standards: ASTM A416, BS 5896, GB/T5224
• Grease filling: Special corrosion-inhibiting grease between strand and PE sheath
